Dog Angel Jewelry was founded by veterinarian and jewelry artist, Amy Valentine, following the loss of her beloved dogs, Maggie and Chloe. Her sadness was gradually healed, in part, through the artistic process of creating pet loss commemorative jewelry for herself, members of her family, neighbors and friends. Today, the website for Dog Angel Jewelry is an online resource for others who have experienced the loss of a beloved pet.

The individually handcrafted components of Dog Angel Jewelry pieces are constructed of sterling silver (.925), fine silver (.999) and high karat gold. The handmade nature of each individual piece results in a rustic, organic appearance that lends itself to a casual but precious piece of jewelry with unique character. The jewelry may be personalized through stamp lettering of names, dates and inspirational phrases, as well as incorporation of meaningful items, such as photographs, drawings, pawprints, pet collars, bedding fabric, and found objects.
